A set that includes a table that not only compliments the shape of your dining room but can expand or contract to accommodate any size guest list is essential. Long tables with extension panels work very well in slender dining rooms and can make them appear much more spacious if the hutches are strategically placed at the ends of the room. Adding a flowing wall mirror over a delicate sideboard can also add the appearance of length to the room. If you have a square space you have much more flexibility to your design capabilities. You could easily accommodate a round, or even an octagonal table perfect for that masterful centerpiece.
